Elevator Door Jamb Floor Level

Customization Options:
  • Sign/Font/Graphic Colors: Over 80 standard colors.
Materials:
  • Made from 0.125" (1/8") thick frosted acrylic with acrylic text.
  • 2" tall raised characters and Grade 2 Braille to ensure ADA compliance.
  • Includes foam tape strips on the back of the sign for easy installation.
Sign Highlights:
  • Post on both sides of the door jamb of elevators on each floor level.
  • Interior or exterior use.

    NOT COMPLIANT FOR CALIFORNIA PROPERTIES. See the link at the bottom of the page for the GSS-EDJ32-CA sign that is compliant for CA properties.

    According to the United States Access Board (ADAAG) - All elevator hoistway entrances shall have raised and Braille floor designations provided on both jambs. The centerline of the characters shall be 60 in (1525 mm) above finish floor. Such characters shall be 2 in (50 mm) high and shall comply with 4.30.4. Permanently applied plates are acceptable if they are permanently fixed to the jambs.
